Time Frame: 1 year or 5 years; 1999 to 2022
Spatial Scale: State, County, and Congressional Districts
Format: Current year data is available as a CSV from the Data Visualizations websites. Prior years data is available as ASCII files.
Source: Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)
Original Repository: All Years Most Current Year Visualizations
Living Atlas: N/A

Cancer statistics are available by site, sex, race/ethnicity, and age. County-level data can be found in the BYAREA_COUNTY.txt files and state-level data can be found in the BYAREA.txt files.

Note: Historical cancer statistics files are in ACSII delimited format. Although ASCII is not a common file type, you should be able to add these tables to ArcGIS Pro as you would with any other file. Additionally, the files are in long format, which is not ideal for most forms of GIS analysis. You will likely find it easier to rearrange the data in some other software before importing to ArcGIS Pro.
