About Us

The Children’s Environmental Health Initiative (CEHI) is a research, education, and outreach program committed to fostering environments where all people can prosper. We also believe that the spatial data has the power to enable better public health decision making. So, as part of our commitment to education, we provide GIS trainings to local, state, and tribal public health professionals. These trainings are part of an ongoing effort to build GIS capacity within public health departments across the US.

Would you like to hear about our upcoming training opportunities? Join the Chronic Disease GIS Network (CDGISN)! The Chronic Disease GIS Network is a place to connect with other public health professional using GIS within their work and hear about upcoming trainings.
